So this has been a fantastic week for fellow M&M'er Liz and the debut of LIVER LET DIE!!
She has been a blogging maniac, putting herself out there and bringing in rave reviews. Honestly, I don't know who is more manic with the blogging - Liz or Kari. They are both pretty darn close. Now, Anita is working to promote her second book in her series and she has been getting some phenomenal reviews already!! But out of the three of them, I believe Anita is more controlled and has learned not to overbook herself! :-) And I admire them for putting themselves out there. If you ask them they will tell you they are shy and getting up in front of people isn't easy. But trust me, folks, if you step back and watch these amazing women in action, you would be amazed (and tell them all they are full of it). :-)
You see, Kari is naturally bubbly and talkative. And she has this uncanny ability to engage ANYONE in conversation. Oh, she can say she's quiet and shy...but if someone makes eye contact, they are fair game. And you gotta love her because she not only plugs her own material, but she will plug her friends books as well!! I would call this Naturally AWESOME. (and she wonders where her little Diva gets it from?)
And Liz, she will make anyone feel welcome. it's that wonderful Texas charm of hers. Yes, she comes from a big family and that could be part of it too, but there's just something about a caserole making, tequila shooting woman who mixes up a batch of snacks called "white trash"...that just puts a smile on your face and let's you know you can put your guard down and be yourself.
Anita, Anita, Anita....she is so sweet and friendly. Who would ever think she writes such sexy sexy heros? And trust me when I say HOT isnt' nearly enough!! Melt me, doesn't even cut it. I think her inner vixen takes over when she writes....it's like she's possessed! And her readers are bound to become page turning victims of her writing, craving more and more and more!
So why am I boosting their egos? Because they have such wonderful reviews they are climbing the ladders of best selling lists! I am thrilled to be blogging with them. They are my cheering section, my inspiration and my comrads in this crazy world of publishing.
And quite honestly, I'm waiting for Cassy to have one of her books out there because with all of her travels and insights I can only imagine a best seller in her midst too!!! And Cassy is waaay smarter than all of us, and I think she would find someone to do her blogging for her (so she can continue to travel and garner research material while personally and diplomatically promoting her book!)
I am carefully learning from you all, and getting my panic attacks out of the way long before I need them! ha ha.
Keep those Grand reviews coming! and I wish you Gazillions more! And for our faithful blog followers, if you haven't picked up books by these three wonderful writers you'd better get your copies now because you're missing out BIG TIME on some fabulous reads!!
Enjoy the weekend!!

What a wonderful blog today, Barbie. Thanks for the good words and the shout out about our books. I can guarantee you won't be far behind us. I've read your stuff, remember. And to out readers out there, our Barbie NEVER has a frown on her face (at least not when Ive been around her.) She always makes you smile with her.
And Barbie, I'll bring some white trash to the CB.
Barbie Jo, I think you must be one of the best cheerleaders in the world. :) This post made me smile because you've captured everyone's personality so perfectly!
Yes a great blog post Barbie. I've laughed, read and loved Kari's cozy. Anita with her hot, steamy hot Scotsman kept me up all weekend reading her book and I know the same will be true for Liz's debut.
I can'twait to see what you and Cassy give us.
Wow, Barbie. You're pretty wonderful yourself, and I can't wait until we can rave about your and Cassy's reviews.
Are you all going to Crime Bake? I wish I could. Boo hoo.
Barbie: You are fantastic. One of the huge things I love about this group is the sense we all are in it together. Liz, your book arrived while I was in OKC. Yeah!!! But, the problem is.....I'm loving reading it and not getting words on the screen. So, if I'm behind in my word count it's all your fault.
Lol. I'm blog surfing tonight and here I find Liz, again.
Honestly, Liz, I'm not stalking you. But now that I'm here, I'd like to know more about the snacks called 'White Trash'.
Hey, I got my first groupie!!!Love it. White trash is regular trash but with white almond bark. It mixes sweet and salty and is addictive, right, Barbie?? Here's the recipe:
2 C Captain Crunch
2 C Rice Krispies
2 C salted cocktail peanuts
2 C pretzel sticks
Mix all together on 2 large pieces of wax paper. Melt 12 oz. (1/2 of 24 oz. package) white almond bark and pour over mixture. Let harden, then break up and put into zip lock bags.
And that's white trash!!
Jordan, maybe I'd better give you my insane October blog tour schedule!!!!!Sooner or later, you'll win a free book!!
LOl. I'm going to buy it on my next trip to B&N. It sounds like fun.
