This year will be my busiest writing year ever as I have FIVE books coming out!! Yep, you heard me right--five.
MURDER FOR THE HALIBUT January 1
SHATTERED (a romantic suspense) March 5th
HEARD IT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE (soft-boiled mystery) May 8th
CHICKEN CACCIA-KILLER October 2nd
SWEEPERS: DIE ONCE MORE (romantic suspense) December 4th
Wow! I'd better get my butt in gear and start writing.
But I'll worry about that later. Today, we are in celebration mode--and there will be giveaways. I'll start you off with a little blurb from MFTH.
A sports writing job would have been
the perfect catch for Jordan McAllister, but in Ranchero, Texas, all she could reel
in was the food column. Though she may not know her way around a kitchen, she
has no trouble finding herself in a kettle of
fish…
Tempted by the offer of a free Caribbean cruise,
Jordan accepts a spot as a judge in a
week-long big-time cooking competition aboard the Carnation Queen. She just better hope no
one finds out that her famous palate is far from
refined.
But there are bigger fish to fry when arrogant chef
Stefano Mancini falls face first into his signature halibut dish during the
first event. While evidence suggests that the handsome Italian chef’s death was
an accident, Jordan thinks otherwise. But she’ll
have to keep her wits about her—and the sea sickness pills handy—if she’s going
to solve this one…
Today, I want to know where your favorite place to cruise is, and if you haven't been on one yet, where would your dream cruise take you? At the end of the day, I'm giving away two autographed copies of MURDER FOR THE HALIBUT to two lucky commenters. So get busy. This is a good book!!

Congrats on your latest release. I can't wait to read it.
I think I would like to take a Disney Cruise but I would have to go by myself because my husband hates anything to do with the Happiest Place on Earth!
Never been on a cruise, but would love to go somewhere warm, like the Caribbean. It looks so beautiful there. Of course I need some reading matierial to take with me!
I have not ever been on a cruise, but my dream cruise would be a world cruise.
Hey, Lindsay, thanks. How's Texas treating you?
Susie, tell me when you want to go, and I'll be there. I also would love a Disney cruise. We're taking the whole family (kids and grandkids) on a Royal Caribbean Cruise next summer for our anniversary. It has all the Dreamworks characters and a lot of great stuff like Disney without the high price tag.
The Caribbean is so relaxing, Melina. You would definitely need reading material. Maybe you'll have something after today!! Fingers crossed.
Paula, do they even have those? That would be awesome. Thanks for commenting.
So happy for you, Liz! Love your books :-)
Congrats on your release, Liz. Can't wait to read MFTH.
I think an Alaska cruise would be fun to do.
Thank you for the chance to win

Liz - I'm nearly finished with Murder... and will read most of the day today to finish it! Thanks for another GREAT read! :)
Congrats on the new release! I'm looking forward to reading it.
I've cruised to Bermuda (loved it -- plan to go back one day), but I think if I were to choose a new destination, probably an Alaskan cruise would be my pick. I've heard the scenery is spectacular and I'm a nature nut, so I'd love to see the wildlife, etc.
Morning, Ms. Liz. Never been on a cruise although I'd love to. Anyplace that gets me away from the computer for the day job would be okay with me. (Laptop would still have to go though so I can write LOL).
Congratulations on the release of Murder for the Halibut.
When I was a 'lot' younger the favorite place to cruise was The Loop. LOL, oh, I'll bet that isn't what you meant is it, haha,I knew that. If I had the time and money, I think maybe around Australia or Alaska.

I'd love to visit the Greek isles - just sounds wonderful - and I'd take your book with me!
Ok third times a charm in posting this morning...here we go again! Woo hoo for the Halibut! As for the cruise a few rules apply: no drunkin captain trying to impress his lady and thus crashing the boat, no sharks ( remember JAWS), no rolling waves, gentle or not, green does not go with latest hair color, so I'm landlocked and would cruise down State Street Salt Lake City to THE GRAND AMERICA HOTAL, get a suite (party for one), enjoy ginormous hot tub with bubbles, diet coke on the rocks, chocolate cherries from Mariach, and your book. No cat to open door and stare at me, no daughter telling me more about Team Jacob! Ahh Heaven!
Thanks, Kari. I love yours, too. Mutual Admiration Day!!
Hey, Margery, thanks for following me around and for commenting. Fingers crossed for you.
Angela, you too, are a great follower. Alaskan cruises are awesome, but as I mentioned on another blog--take a coat.
Fingers crossed for the contest.
Ah, Heather, that is so sweet of you to say--and do. I was so worried as I haven't had any reviews yet for Halibut. If you win today, you can have y our choice of any of my books or a future one.
NO-NO-No, Miss Kathy. No writing allowed on the cruise. Only reading for enjoyment. Unless of course, it's a writing cruise!! Or if you're like me, you write a book about a cruise so you can write off the entire price of the cruise on your income tax!!
Thanks for stopping by.
Wendy, we also had a loop in Shadyside, Ohio. OMG! I had forgotten about that. good one.
Alicia, I'll be glad to send you all the books you want if you take ME with you. Good luck.
Pauline, you are so funny. And I have to admit, your idea of a "relaxing cruise" does sound inviting, too. I can't wait for you to read Halibut as it takes you on a Caribbean cruise right along with the characters.
My favorite place to take a cruise would be to the Caribbean ( spelling? ) someplace warm...and tropical! =)
Thanks for the chance to win!
Definitely going to be a busy year for you! I'd love to do a Mediterranean cruise. That would be idyllic!
Melissa, here's hopin you win the book AND get to go on a Caribbean cruise.
Kaye, thanks for commenting. Fortunately for me, most of the books coming out this year are already written. There's still the promoting, which takes up a ginormous amount of time.
I'll go with you to the Mediterranean.
Happy happy happy day my friend. I love your work. And am happy to help too. ox
Can't wait to read this book. It's waiting on my Kindle.
I love cruises, and have been on two. Went to the Western Caribbean each time. I want to go somewhere else!
Vicki, I don't know what I would do without the wonderful Plotting Princesses who help me plot these mysteries. Sending smooches.
Mel, I can't wait to hear what you think. And we should plan a writer's cruise. I know they already do one, but I mean just with certain people.
Congrats on your new book.
Congrats Liz! I thought I had a busy year ahead, until I saw your release schedule!
Favorite cruise place- the Bahamas-- but that was many years ago. With a daughter in college, and another in soon, we're not cruising anywhere anytime soon...
Wow, this is the third blog in which I've entered a contest trying to win your book! If I hear of a cruise that features non-stop Scrabble games, I'll be there.
Kiki, thanks for entering.
Dale, I've never been to the Bahamas on a cruise, but it sound like fun. And dyes, what was I thinking with all those books? The good news is that most fo them are already written.
Nancy, cross your fingers. And I love scrabble, too.
Here I go--off to random.org to pick two winners.
And random dot org has spoken once again. The winners of the copy of MFTH are Alicia and Kaye.
Please send your snail mail address to Liz@LizLipperman.com
For those who didn't win, there will be several more chances this month, so watch my FaceBook page for the blog schedule. Thanks to everyone for playing with me.
