I am so excited! On Friday I got "the call" for TWO new deals :-) There was a glitch in the PW listings, but here's what they will say:

MYSTERY

A fashion designer adopted into a big Greek family can suddenly read minds after a crazy accident, but only through the power of touch. ROMANTIC SUSPENSE 
Kari Lee Townsend w/a Kari Lee Harmon's KICKING THE HABIT, about an ex-nun who finds herself in the middle of a high profile murder investigation and the former Ranger who is assigned to protect her. When she refuses to disclose details of a confession she accidentally overhears (adhering to: what happens in the confessional, stays in the confessional) she becomes the target of some very nasty hitmen. Add in her pole-dancing sister and senile but feisty granny trying to be helpful, and it's all the ex-Ranger can do to keep them out of harm's way, to Terry Goodman and Courtney Miller at Amazon Publishing, for publication in 2013, by Christine Witthohn at Book Cents Literary Agency (world). 

I can't stop grinning like a buffoon. This business is changing so quickly, it's crazy scary and hard to keep up. Yet extremely exciting as well. I love being able to write for more than one publisher, write in multiple genres, and self-publish the rest of my babies :-) I've worked so damn hard and am very proud of everything I've ever written. But so have a lot of us. It's those who refuse to stop and give up that rise to the top. Those who refuse to take no for an answer. I've always adhered to: If one door closes...find another, even if you have to break in. 

Since neither book is finished, I'm going to have crazy deadlines, but hey...that's been the story of my writing career from the very beginning. Good thing I LOVE what I do :-)
